Blanes

In 1968 Miguel Milá designed the first version of this chair, called the “Rombo” chair at the time due to the shape of the rattan weave of the seat and backrest. In 1973, the Milá-Correa studio incorporated them in the interior decoration project of the “Il Giardinetto” Restaurant, for which they were awarded the FAD Interior Design Award that same year.

In 2022 we will reissue a new version with the name 'Blanes' Chair in memory of the master craftsman Mr. Blanes who manufactured them for the first time in the 70s of the last century.
